SN65HVD1050: SN65HVD1040 function verification

Dear Sir,

So far we are using SN65HVD1040 to replace TJA1040. but we don't know how to verity the function at MP stage. May I know any rule or tool to check the function of SN65HVD1040 ? thanks.

I'll try to attach a PowerPoint that goes over the basic guidelines on checking CAN functionality. Overall, I'd say the main points to start off with are to make sure you have correct termination, and to make sure the differential signal amplitude on the CAN bus agrees with the specifications given on the datasheet. If you have any other specific questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask.
