Do you also think that CHA format issue is the reason why we don't have output eDP signal? I still not so sure why eDP no output...
This block diagram would like the MIPI DSI signal is from Qualcomm SDM450 chip, and use 4 pair lane to SN65DSI86.
The SN65DSI86 circuit use a 27Mhz oscillator as REFCLK on PCB, and we had tried use DSIA CLK and setting 0x0A as 0x07, 0x12 to 0x3E~0x43,
And for this solution, 0xF0 = 0x00, 0xF1 = 0x08 (CHA_DATATYPE_ERR), so it seems that customer can't use oscillator.
But for CHA_DATATYPE_ERR, we don't know how to fix it. In DSI86 datasheet P.21~P.27, it describe the DSI format.
And says "DSI datatypes VSS and HSS are required, but datatypes HSE and VSE are optional"
But customer engineer can't find setting on SDM450 DSI driver about how to set VSS & HSS.
Do you have any resource or experience about this DSI datatype error situation suggestion?
