Hi,

Customer used DS90UB914A to transmit 1080p@30fps with 10bit RAW video data and found the resolution would reduce.

Is this normal? Is the transition is lossless or would have data loss?

Sorry UB914a can't support it, you can use UB936 for this case.
btw, you can use the internal helpme system. thanks.

Actually, UB9314A has worked at above condition, only issue is the resolution dose not good enough as the direct output from camera.

1>. From the information we need use DS90UB936 for 1080p 30fps with 10 bit raw data.

-->It has other solution?(the solution need support parallel interface~)

2>. Performance will not good enough when use DS90UB914A for this application-->

DS90UB914A can support 100Mhz with 10bit RAW data from datasheet, It is based on performance degrade? And has any documents about clock rate VS performance?

3>.Does DS90UB933 full support 1080p 30fps with 10 bit raw data?

the application of UB914a is overspeced, TI can't secure its reliability.

Hi Junqiang,

The max data rate is less than 1.1Gbps for front channel in our applicaton.
DS90UB914/913 can support 1.4Gbps from datasheet.
I don't know why the application of UB914a is overspeced?

If the video format is 1080p@30fps with 10bit RAW video ONLY, the link rate is ~1.1Gbps, and it can work well.
but if the video format is 1080p@30fps with YUV422, the link can't work due to higher PCLK.
