If I want to enable auto-negotiation via strapping, should this be strapping Mode 4? Per table 10 of the datasheet (BMCR), logic 1 infers auto-negotiation is enabled. A logic 1 would map to Mode 4 per table 6-4 (Level Strap Pins). What is confusing is the strap function title within table 6-4: "Autoneg Disable." The word "disable" is opposite in polarity from the BIT name in table 10 ("enable"). Therefore, it is unclear of logic 1 of table 10 maps to Mode 4 of table 6-4.
