Hello Team,

customer wants to build up a camera emulation to test 954 configuration.

Now his question is: Can 940 configured as input RGB444 and output as RAW12?

Enclosed configuration of this tester and question if this is possible?

Hello Josef,

The archeticture should work but the Deserializer (940) can't change the data type. It just output the inputed data type i.e. RGB444.

If they want RAW12 at the output then you need to have this type at the input.

is the UB949 also able to work in 12bit mode for RAW12?

Hello Hartmut,

The 949 input follows the HDMI standards.
In the HDMI specification, the input data can be RGB444 (Same as RGB888), YUV444, YUV422 and RAW.
