Hello

I'm working on a design using this IBIS file (standard RGMII).

Currently for the RX signals the model selector is defined as "lvds".

How do I change these buffers to be compatible to RGMII standard?

Should I over-write the IBIS file an replace "lvds" by "GPIO"?

Is this GPIO model selector the same for TX as for RX?

Hi Antonio,

The RX signals have dual function. You can select either GPIO or LVDS for these pins.

That is the issue, I am no able to select GPIO. The program I am using (CST) just recognize LVDS as a model selector.

I am including a picture showing pin 23 (RX_D3) is selected. The only available model selector is lvds_1p8, lvds_2p5 & lvds_3p3. There is not way to select GPIO.

Hi Antonio,

It looks like the issue is specific to the software you are using. I tried the free Visual IBIS Editor and it does show different models for RX signals.
