DS90UB933-Q1: DS90UB933-Q1 12V POC

Part Number: DS90UB933-Q1

Dear ti :

my custom  want to use ds90ub933-q1 on 12V System the power direct from the battery.  But he got some doubts ?
1. does this application have successful story In mass production models。

2.I know the POC net can work in 12v system,  it does not require voltage, but the ripple requirements are more strictly.  Datasheet show 35mv max.
But the battery voltage always form 9v to 16v?  how to meet the ripple voltage requirement?   When the system is powered on, will the high voltage damage the chip?

thanks a lot.

  • Hello,
    please check below comments:

--> dependent on your system design noise. For TI's device, the PoC can be 12V but you should secure the 12V voltage is stable and the PoC noise catch the design request in d/s.

--> what is your meaning here? the voltage variation is NOT equal to ripple. please make sure the power supply ramping rate, it is important spec. as well here. the ripper request is 35mV as mentioned here.
