PCA9306: PCA9306 IBIS model select

Part Number: PCA9306

Can PCA9306 used as output in SI simulation?

Which model should be choose?

PCA9306_IN is only for input.

PCA9306_IO is termination.

PCA9306_IO_S   series_switch  type,  can not support in Mentor hyperlynx.

  • Hey user5996297 ,

Is it possible to use the HSPICE model of the PCA9306 instead of the IBIS model?

I am not very famillar with IBIS model simulation but:

"Which model should be choose? "
The IO_S model would probably be the one to use here.

In the previous e2e thread you posted, it looks like the high is latched at 1V. My guess behind why this is happening is because you do not have pull up resistors on the output side. Are there pull up resistors in your schematic?
