HD3SS3220: IBIS-AMI or SPICE to simulate Eye Pattern

Hi team,

My customer wants to simulate an Eye-Pattern of HD3SS3220.

I recommended IBIS model and S-Parameter model on TI.com to customer. However, the Tx/Rx were NC in the IBIS Model as following link. Also the S-Parameter seems to be for Insertion and Return Loss simulations.

Therefore, could you provide me the IBIS-AMI or SPCIE which can simulate eye pattern?

Hi Yamaguchi,

Unfortunately we only have IBIS and S-parameter models for this device. For Eye -diagram simulations the S-parameter files should be used.

Yes, customer hopes to do Eye -diagram simulations with S-parameter model. However, customer is not familiar with this simulation.

Could you share the sample-circuit file which used this HD3SS3220's S-parameter model, please?

Hi Yamaguchi,

The S-parameter model is data to be used inside of some modeling software therefore there is no generic sample circuit file I can provide. What simulator is the customer using?

Unfortunately we do not have any support for our S-parameter models in HSpice. Sorry for any inconvenience.
