TUSB1044: USB SS Through mode

My customer has a question for TUSB1044 initial setting for I2C.

Customer want to control this device by I2C. Will I2C data lines become through mode without any initial setting(any hardware pins setting)?

If they need any pins control, please let me know.

I2C through mode >> USB SS through mode

Customer hope, SS signal can through with initial condition.

Customer will debug their system using USB SS.

TUSB1044 default is USB3.1-only no-flip. What does through mode mean?

Customer is understanding as below,

TUSB1044 default setting is,

- USB SS= available signal control

- AUX=open

because, registers default setting is below,

DIRSEL[1:0]=0h

CTLSEL[1:0]=01h

FLIPSEL=0h

AUX_SBU_OVR = 0h

If their understanding is not correct, please give me your advice.

Yes, these are the default I2C settings when TUSB1044 powers up, and these settings will place TUSB1044 into USB mode.
