HD3SS3220: HD3SS3220, about the tx rx capacitors

Hi Sir

For the HD3SS3220 with UFP(upstream facing port) application, what's the purpose to add 100nF on TXP2, TXN2, TXN1, TXP1 instead of RX side? and why RX side no need to add capacitors?

and could i add capacitors on SSTXP, SSTXN, SSRXP and SSRXN too? if yes, what's the value is suitable?

HD3SS3220 only requires AC coupling on one side of the device. Typically this is AC coupling is placed between HD3SS3220 and the connector. Per USB Spec a specific TX capacitance is required, 100 nF helps to achieve this capacitance. RX should be AC coupled to the Device TX when the device is connected to the connector.
