There is a Linux driver for AM5728 + DP83867.

Will the same/similar driver work if moving to the DP83869?

Hi Mark,

There are some feature differences between DP83867 and DP83869 which will not allow the reuse of 867 driver for 869. We are currently working on getting a driver out for DP83869. I should have a updated in two weeks.

Here's a first version of the linux driver. We are currently testing it and once everything is verified then we will upload online.
