Hi all

My customer is using the TUSB320LAI and their test-house is aksing for a USB Vendor Info File (VIF) in order to run suitable pre-compliance tests.

Can you clarify how to generate or how to obtain this file ?

You can download the VIF generator tool and generate the VIF file at this link: www.usb.org/.../usb-vendor-info-file-generator-version-2000.

Hello,

on the "General PD" page, most of the information to be filled in seem to be about the low level PD protocol implementation, which the TUSB320LAI datasheet does not provide (or at least I could not locate it). Would there be either an example VIF file available as a starting point (I understand that some information depends on register settings), or a whitepaper providing some guidance ? In particular about:

- PD specification Revision (2.0 or 3.0)

- SOP PP capable

- SOP P Debug capable

- SOP PP Debug capable

- VCONN Swap to ON / Off supported

- Responds to Discov SOP UFP / DFP

- Attempts discov SOP
