Hello guys,

One of my customers is looking for a conversion device which can convert from HDMI to LVDS.

I think SN65LVDS93B can be used for HDMI -> LVDS converting.

Can this device used for converting from HDMI to LVDS?

If your have any recommended device, could you please let me know?

Hello,

SN65LVDS93B converts parallel single-ended LVCMOS signals to serialized LVDS signal. It cannot be used to convert HDMI audio to I2S. Please check the following the following thread which may be helpful:

You can use DS90UB949-Q1 + DS90UB948-Q1 to convert HDMI to LVDS.

You can find information on I2S in the datasheet. I'm not aware of any reference designs specific to it.
