Hi Sir

Does DP159 having power sequence request?

There have no Video out when we connect HDMI Monitor then power on board.

Even we re-power on board, Video still have no output.

Connect HDMI Monitor with DP159 then Power On, the DP 159 can’t have any output but display normal if we re-connect HDMI Monitor

We are force the display data input to DP159, and change the HPD detection by FPGA not HDMI connector.

May you pls have suggestion?

x-mode is DP retimer, normal mode is DP++ retimer.

how do you reset Dp159? Do you have Cap on OE pin?

the no output issue happen by random, if got no output problem, the output will become to normal after we re-plug HDMI Monitor
Customer don’t have design CAP on OE pin.

Please make sure they follow the power-up sequence in Figure 22 of the DP159 datasheet. The OE signal must be hold low until VDD and VCC become stable, and then goes high.

How does the HPD signal being connected?
