DS90UB954-Q1: will back channel frequency settings affect line concatenation

Part Number: DS90UB954-Q1

To get range on STP we run 2 x 1080p YUV422 sensors with 0x58 set to 0x5d in the deserialiser ports 0 and 1.

can this affect the synchronised line concatenation mode?

We are trying to merge the images into 1 stream at 3840 x 1080.

  • Hello,

Yes, it could be. but pls refer to d/s page51 (http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ds90ub954-q1.pdf

The forwarding engine for the CSI-2 Transmitter can be configured to synchronize both video sources. Requirements:
    • Video arriving at input ports should be synchronized within approximately one video line period
    • All enabled ports should have valid, synchronized video
    • Each port must have identical video parameters, including number and size of video lines, presence of synchronization packets, and so forth.

    best rgds,

    Steven
