I want to confirm the maximum resolution that one FPDL3 link is able to transmit? It's 720p?
This will confirm my suspicion about the reason DS90UB947-Q1 use two FPDL3 (dual link) to transmit 1080p.

    Your suspicion is correct. 947 need dual link to transmit 1080p.

    We care more about actual video data rate. A single link can support about 2.3Gbps of actual video data. The actual resolution is a little higher than 720p, but cannot support 1080p with a single link.
