DS90UB948-Q1: How to confirm whether the input signal and output signal of the chip are wrong

I have A client who USES chips DS90UB948-Q1 and DS90UB929-Q1 for on-board instrumentation.

Now in the real car test, found some models appear dashboard shake screen.However, after 2 to 4 hours after the screen is switched on and the meter is no longer chattering, the re-power will not repeat the failure phenomenon.

The customer found that after modifying PGCDC OR PGHSW, the same situation as the faulty parts would occur.

1. Are you trying to monitor the video input and output or the FPD4 link data? 
Can you first check the error registers? ex: is Pass low? check forward channel errors on register 0x52, check back  channel crc errors by seeing 0x0c[0]
Does PATGEN work on both devices? 

2. & 3. I need to understand where the issue is coming from before I can recommend a solution.
Can you explain what you mean by chattering?
