DS280BR820: There are bits-error during sending and receiving data using DS280BR820

Do you have two devices in series?  1500 mils is a pretty short distance, can you send more information about your system?

Hi,

Yes, the two DS280BR820(left and right in the figure) is in series. In the beginning, we use one chip,

the left side as shown in the figure, the maximum length of the line on PCB is 2200mil, the line goes

through the connector, there are a little bits-errors during sending and receiving data. Then we add

the DS280BR820 on the right, the maximum length of the line on PCB is 1500mil, but the BER becomes

worse. Thanks!

For a 2200mil distance the loss will be quite low.  Only one DS280BR820 should be used.

Do you have AC coupling on the DS280BR820 Tx pins?

What are the DS280BR820 configuration settings?

We have AC coupling on the DS280BR820 Tx pins. We use the default configuration settings, and

find the performance is better than other settings. May it be better if exchange to DS280DF810?
