Hi Sir, 

We need to setup a testing system for DS90UB913A-Q1 and it plan to connect DS90UB964 by using wire cable. The draft system as attached file in detail. We prefer to use Program B. We need your advise to check how FPD LINK is able to run testing environment. Thanks.

    Hi JA,

    yes, both can work. program A is one general application in the market.

    For program B, please note below comments:

    1. the SDA/SCL is not needed as our ser. and de-ser can support the I2C communication combined with video signal together. you can check d/s on I2C application description. (Green wire Signal:SDATA, and Orange wire Signal:SCLK are not needed)

    2. For video signal in D+ pin, please make sure the total wire length and its loss. generally, coax cable is designed for automotive application and it has small loss for 1m cable length. But for the wire, as it is "thin", the loss is a little higher, please make sure the total loss is <15dB@1GHz, the higher loss the longer length.

     btw, may I know your solution how you connect 964's CSI output to the display panel?
