Looking at using two DP83822I PHYs (RGMII) with a single 1GigE transformer to allow generating two 100Mb channels through one transformer. Each channel would use half of the 1G transformer.
The candidate transformer is the Pulse PM-9210. Attached is the data sheet. The electrical specs look compliant to the requirements listed in the DP83822 data sheet, but we would like your confirmation.
Does this transformer look acceptable? Are there any concerns with running two 100M channels through a single magnetic device?
