Dear experts,

Our customer is evaluating DP83TC811EVM, and they have problems now. Their device can not sent out  messages.


Ethernet detection Link UP is normal, their device uses RGMII interface, PHY is not configured. They wonder whether our chip needs special configuration, or is there any configuration suggestions to share with them?

    Hi Minqi,

    The EVM supports 100Base-T1 using DP83TC811 and 100Base-TX using DP83822. Are both the links on the EVM on? Using the USB-2-MDIO software, can you reach both the PHYs? What device are the using to generate Ethernet message?

    Hi Aniruddha,

    The links on the EVM are both on, And their current solution is MCU-PHY-EVM-PC, the Ethernet message is generated by the MCU, but the PC does not catch the message.

    They wonder what kind of information should they check with the USB-2-MDIO software to identify the problem? Could you share some suggestion? Thanks!
