I'm working on optimizing the return loss and insertion loss for a PoC network on a DS90UB95*-Q1 based FPD-Link III System. I'd like to ensure that if we state our system is FPD Link III compliant, that we are within the requirements of the protocol.
What is the recommended way to verify that we are compliant to FPD-Link? Is there a master document on the protocol that contains this information?
Is the recommended tool the ALP Link Margin Analysis tool?
Do we need to verify this using a maximum cable length, or is the cable length used our discretion?
