Hi all,

Customer found 3 TCA6424A of 16 failure on PP. Can you help review the schematic to see if there is any issue of their schematic? Thanks.

    Hi Jeff,

    Nothing in the schematic stands out to me as an obvious cause for failure. Could you please share more information on what test is being conducted on the device and what classifies as a failure?

    Hi Eric,

    This year, they have been using these boards. The failure phenomenon is not the same.

    One of them is the corresponding one of the buttons KROW and KCOL IO. The other two found that the software operation I2C did not respond at the time.

    They also suspected that ESD was the reason, but the probability of this chip being bad on the board is higher, so they ask to help check the schematic, and I will keep monitoring this. Thanks.
