    Hi Bogey,

    I would recommend TRS202E to be able to use 0.1uF charge pump capacitors which are specified in MAX202 datasheet. TRS232E suggests using 1.0 uF capacitors. TRS202EIPW will offer an operating temperature range from -30 to 85 C and ESD protection on RS232 pins. In comparison, MAX202CUE+ shows an operating temp range of 0 to 70 C and MAX202 datasheet does not specify ESD protection.
