DS250DF230: Is there possibility to mix two versions (rev A0 and rev A1) if we purchase from TI aftertime?

Hi Team,

I understand there is two versions DS250DF230 Rev A0 and A1.
Is there possibility to mix these two versions if we purchase from TI aftertime?
If the answer is yes, is it possible to distinguish it without reading 0xF0 register?

    Hi,

    A1 is the production version. Thus TI is no longer selling the previous A0 version. Functionally, the two versions are the same so either may be used if A0 inventory still remains at the customer. TI would only recommend to use A0 for internal engineering evaluation and not for production shipments.

    The only way to distinguish the verisons is via 0xF0 register.
