Could you pleas let me know the total transmission rate with the following case?

Aspect: 1920x1080
Frame rate: 60fps
Bit per pix: 16bit (YUV422-8bit or RAW16bit)
Blanking area: x1.2

Calculation result: 1920 * 1080 * 60 * 16 * 1.2 = 2,388,787,200bit
≒ 2.39Gbps

Other
8b → 10b [10b → 11b] coding, CRC, control packet, etc ...
Please tell me the total transmission rate that takes into account the redundancy bits.

Also, Can DS90UB935-Q1 support the above condition?

Hi Muk,

Your calculation for the CSI bandwidth is correct. Usually we add a 25% overhead to account for blanking, coding, etc.

The 935 should be able to support the sensor.

Thank you for your answer.

Mipi combined data rate(DS90UB935-Q1) = 2.5GHz

Calculation result: 1920 * 1080 * 60 * 16 * 1.2 = 2,388,787,200bit ≒ 2.39Gbps (included blanking x1.2, 20%)

re-calculation : 1920 * 1080 * 60 * 16 * 1.25(25%) = 2.488Gbps

So, The 935 should be able to support the sensor.

Is it correct?
