THVD1450: Noise protect issue

Part Number: THVD1450

Hello,

There is some noise issue with  THVD1450.

-. Problem : When connect RS-485 device to this THVD1450, Noise is asserted.

-. Question : Can use bead instead of 10ohm resistor as described in datasheet as below?

-. RS-485 max data rate: 115.2kbps

 -. Bead Spec

Please let me get your answer.

Regards,

Nicky

  • Nicky,

Definitely you can use beads on the bus. The inductive response may help filter some noise. However I suggest you characterize the noise first, like common mode or differential, amplitude, frequency. If you have more information about the noise like waveform, I would like to take a look.

    Regards,
