TFP410 and Dual-Link DVI

Follow-up on this:

I read in another place that the TFP410 has "1 clock delay" from input to output.

If this delay is "exactly" constant between chips, this should in theory be good enough answer to my question.

Does anyone know if this is the case?

Are there any reference designs for dual-link DVI from TI you can refer me to?

Thanks. This seems to be for dual link receiver. Is there similar for TRANSMITTER?

There isn't an equivalent doc for dual-link transmitter.

I'm approaching to develop a board directly connected to an FPGA, that must acquire Dual-Link DVI signals @ 2048x2048pixels @85Hz (maximum framerate).

My idea was to use Two TFP-401 as in your suggested documentation.

@ the end of the month, I wish to have a prototype...does an evaluation board exist?

Fabio, we have an EVM available that has 1 TFP403 (nearly identical to the TFP401).  I'm not sure how helpful it would be, if you're going to implement dual-link.  Would that help you?

my Idea Is to check the functional mode of TFP403 with our FPGA (http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/it/nid/210272)

After that, if we could acquire a dual link flux, we'll try to implement your solution....anyway if you have any suggestions, don't esitate to reply!
