USB-2-MDIO: Clarity on PHY ID

Hi there,

A basic query here.

When i try communicating between a MSP430F5529 and Marvel PHY, it says PHY ID's are not available. (All the flashing done correcly with yellow and red led lit on the Launchpad)

Query would be, since its one PHY device that is connected, when the find phy id is run on the USB to MDIO tool, should it not be only one PHY ID available? Instead of all the PHy ID's available or not available?

question is really basic i believe.Looking forward for some helpful answers as i am a beginner.
