Hi Team,

I want to create a firmware for a specific application(PD charger) using the tps .

Can we configure the dip switch while creating the FW using the customization tool..?

example I need to create a fw in which the tps work for diff profile like (60 W, 85 W, 15 W ) charger . I need to used dip switch to deliver the particular op power from the tps. Please let me know , if we can do this

Hello Abin,

You can use the app config functionality to load up to three different configurations. You can reference Section 3.2 of the following app note. Also, you can load the example app config project file using the application customization tool. Click project -> new project -> tps65982 -> app config

Also, I would recommend switching to the TPS65987D if you have not already started your design. The TPS65987D is our latest single port PD controller with integrated power paths.
