Hi TI experts,

I'm designing the schematic of DS90UB948-Q1 and have a question about pin configuration. Can I leave the MODE_SEL pin not connected and use software to set the mode? Thank you.

    Hello,

    Technically this may be possible but it is not recommended for this device. It would be best to follow the datasheet recommendations for this pin or at the minimum, pull it to GND to make sure it is not floating.
