DS160PR410: is channel swapping allowed?

Part Number: DS160PR410

I am using this part for a PCIe x4 link

In order to facilitate a better layout, I would like to swap the lines on the RX redriver.

Would it be OK if I had

  • PCIE_RX0 connected to the DS160PR410 pins RX3
  • PCIE_RX1 connected to the DS160PR410 pins RX2
  • PCIE_RX2 connected to the DS160PR410 pins RX1
  • PCIE_RX3 connected to the DS160PR410 pins RX0

The PCIE_TX lines would be connected in the normal order

  • PCIE_TX0 to DS160PR410 pins TX0
  • PCIE_TX1 to DS160PR410 pins TX1
  • PCIE_TX2 to DS160PR410 pins TX2
  • PCIE_TX3 to DS160PR410 pins TX3

Is the DS160PR410  actually monitoring the PCIe transactions, so that the lines and ports have to match?
