Original question:
Why does figure 14 show that the 4 port is connected as a pass through, even though pins 10,9,7,6 are listed as NC (section 5). The single device shows a traditional connection Figure 23, why is the 4 port not connected the same way (see image at bottom).

Hi JP,
Figure 23 has the most accurate representation of the connection of the TPD1E05U06. NC pins are there simply to allow the trace of the signals to go through the device.
