TUSB8041: How to program TUSB8041 EEPROM

Hi Sir,

We are planning to use TUSB8041 in one of our project for that I have a few queries -

1. How to Program TUSB8041 EEPROM?

2. From where I can download TUSB8041 GUI Programmer software for windows

3. I am not using and EVK board for this TUSB8041.. So how can I program this TUSB8041 using GUI programmer or by any other supported programmer?

4. I want to configure VID, PID, and a few other EEPROM configurable so how can I do that?

5. It is possible to configure the above parameter from TUSB GUI Software ? or how can I do that?

Please accept my friend request and I will send you the utility. EEPROM programming works over USB, an EVM is not required.

This app note is for a newer version of the device but can be used as a reference to generate your EEPROM file.

Also, I am not having any TUSB EVK. I having TUSB8041 IC only so How can program it using GUI?
Can you provide steps or any user manual?

Hi Maneesh,

I have sent the tool, it includes a users guide. You install a blank EEPROM on the board with the TUSB8041, connect the board to a USB host running the programming utility, then select the hub and load the EEPROM.
