In Application Customization Tool , i have set I2C3 as master in reg 0x27 then in I/O config register 0x5C I set GPIO 5 and 6 as I2C3 and GPIO 18 as "Output Enabled without Even" with a pull up. As suggested by https://e2e.ti.com/support/interface/f/138/t/921863 .
The next thing i need to do is set up 0x62 register with record start index and number of indices, but there are only fields for port1 and port2 as i understand they are I2C1 and I2C2 . So how do i set it up for I2C3?
The next thing I have to do is set up 0x64 register and i can choose up to 8 slaves and 2 redriver configurations. As im using the I2C3 to set up a redriver ,so I want to use one of these .
For example redriver 1 configuration. But when i go to I2C Master Events table to fill out record index i can't choose the redriver config. In the slave address index i can choose from -2 to 7. What should i choose to select the redriver 1 configuration ?
I have checked the datasheet and other appropriate documents , but there are only reference how to set up I2C1.
I also found two more posts about this , but they never got a clear answer to how its done.
