DS90UB953A-Q1: Ref Clock out : 19.2 MHz

Part Number: DS90UB953A-Q1

Hi,

I am working on a multi camera sensor solution and I want a CLK_OUT of 19.2MHz from the DS90UB953A-Q1 chip.

1. Is it possible to derive 19.2MHz on a non synchronous mode of operation with an external ref clock of 25 MHz

2. If I use a synchronous mode, how is the registers configured using the back channel?

  • Hello,

1.) Yes, you can derive a 19.2MHz signal on the CLK_OUT pin.

2.) The frequency output depends on the forward channel speed.  So you can use table 6 to set the multipliers which can be found in registers 0x06 and 0x07.  To use the back channel clock you can use the strap setting which can be found in table 8.

    Regards,

    Nick
