DS90C387: HDMI to LVDS interface for DUAL LVDS Display

Hello,

we are using TFP401 with DS90c387 as HDMI to LVDS interface for 19" LCD AUO G190ETN01.

the question is how to operate the DS90C387 in H sync/V sync mode instead of DE mode.

Hi Shadi,

DE signal is always needed in both sync mode and DE mode.

If sync mode is required, H sync and V sync signal should be supplied to the HSYNC and VSYNC pin of DS90C387.

Hi Shadi,

You don't need to configure the DS90C387 in anyway to enable sync mode.

You just need to supply the HSYNC, VSYNC and DE signals to DS90C387.

For question on TFP401, I will route the question to appropriate team.

Hi Shadi,

Sync mode configurations are controlled by the display panel. These devices will always supply HSYNC, VSYNC, and DE.
