TPS65987D: PP1_CABLE pin

Hey there,

In a system with no other power source other than VBUS, is it possible to connect VBUS directly to the PP1_CABLE pin of the 87 to supply the 5V needed for this pin or

am I missing something here?

Hello Nir,

Is this a UFP only design? if yes, you can keep this pin floating. Otherwise, you will have to step down Vbus and supply this pin (step down not required if Vbus is 5V only).
