SN65DSI84: Support 480*960 screen with single lane LVDS

One of my customer want to using our device SN65DSI84 to support a single lane LVDS screen of 480*960, will this possible? if Yes, is there some tools or reference for this kind of setting?

Hi Jun,

Looking at your question again, do you mean just 1 lane out of the 8 LVDS data lanes the device has? If so, no, that's not possible.

Additional information, the resolution is 480*960, and frame rate is 60, and the SN65DSI84 have the single channel LVDS mode, so want to know if the device can support.

Hi Jun,

They can use the SN65DSI83. Please refer to the FAQ I shared.

They can use the DSI-Tuner to configure the settings and also reference this video for a guide: https://training.ti.com/configuring-sn65dsi8x-single-channel-dsi-single-link-lvds-operation
