Hi Experts,

According to the specification the current consumption of this part can vary from 1.8 and 7.5mA.

Could you clarify why we have this huge range and when customers will see the max 7.5mA? High temperature, fault condition...?

    Simon,

    The majority of this will come from a high level VSUP voltage. since the operational supply voltage range is 4.5V to 45V, there will be a large variance in supply current as well. Also, worst-case temperature conditions will contribute as well. The 7.5mA maximum is considering the most "extreme" conditions.
