SN65DSI86-Q1: Does it matter for a landscape mode or portrait mode panel？

I knew from the datasheet that SN65DSI86 can support WQXGA resolution@60HZ.

But does it matter for the panel design is in landscape mode(2560RGB*1600) or in portrait mode(1600RGB*2560)?

Hi,

You need to program the DSI86 register appropriately for the landscape and the portrait mode. Please see this e2e FAQ and you can use the spreadsheet to generate the register programming value for the landscape and the portrait mode:
