Hi team,

May I have your help to check if the placement of these 2 scenario is ok or not?

And what's the EQ setting you recommend?

1. pre-channel loss -19.95dB and post-channel loss is -15.2dB

2. pre-channel loss -20.2dB and post-channel loss is -15.2dB

Hi Cindy,

It is best to use IBIS-AMI model of the DS160PR410 to simulate this application. Also, please refer to the app note below for CTLE settings for different pre and post channel losses such as what have shown in items 1 and 2:
