TPS65988: RESET State Behaviour

Can you please send me the project file that you are using for the web configuration GUI?

I need to see what you have configured that could be causing this issue.

But, I don't understand how these configurations files affect the default configuration behaviours and the reset behaviour of the controller.

As far as I have noticed, no configuration in the GUI is related to them.

If there's any impact, please explain how.

How are you toggling the HRESET Pin?

The pin should be connected to ground through a resistor and pulled high when the device is supposed to reset.

What is the behavior that you are seeing?

The RESET pin is connected to the ground with a resistor.

I have made a jumper position to that line to make it pulled up to 3.3V.

Even in the RESET asserted state, the PPHV1 Power path is closing with 5V negotiation and the PPHV2 path is not closing irrespective of whether the SPI Flash is connected or not.

The TPS265988 will still negotiate a 5V contract if the Flash fails to boot.  Do you have access to a PD analyzer or some means to determine what PDO contract the part is ending up in.

A PD analyzer will make the debug much easier.

I also see that you have another question that seems to be related.  Are these questions both related to the same bringup?

I would like to close one of the two threads and focus all questions on one if that is ok with you.
