In the ground shift test, we found that bus diagnosis function in a ground shifting situation, CAN transceiver error pin may be triggered which is a misdiagnosis.
We also do the same test on CAN transceivers from other supplier, which remove the bus diagnosis function, and there is no misdiagnosis.
The other supplier explains why they remove the bus diagnostic function in new version CAN transceiver is that there is risk of fake flag (misdiagnosis) when ground shifting.
