[FAQ] TPS25750: How do I create a Sink-Only USB-C PD port to replace a legacy Barrel Jack Connector?
Hi,
I am able to connect to TPS25750 EVM using USB2ANY adapter. I am not able to change application configuration file as GUI shows hardware not connected.

Sandeep,
The TPS25750EVM is intended to interface the the PC with a USB micro B cable that connects between the PC and the EVM. There is no direct support for a USB2ANY.
Are using the https://www.ti.com/tool/USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01 board? This board does not directly connect to the WEB gui. If you are using the PD-CHG-EVM, then you will need to save a full flash binary from the configuration GUI and then use a Flash download utility to download it onto the board.

Chuck
Hi Chuck,
I am using USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01, installed application customization GUI in PC. This EVM has USB type C cable only.
Please provide me the steps to be followed and Flash download utility for making it work.
Regards,
B Sandeep.
Hi Chuck,
I am able to program the flash using Aardvark tool with new configuration bin file. The charging current of the battery is coming as 1A even after changing it to 2A in programmed configuration file.

B Sandeep.
Hi Sandeep,
Chuck is out of office until Wednesday. He will follow up with you later this week.
Thanks,
Emma
The Integrated USB Type-C PD and Charging Reference Design for 2-4 Cell Batteries user's guide provides a step by step guide on how to configure this device using the Web GUI.
Once you generate the binary file using the web GUI, you can load it onto the eeprom using the Aardvark Flashcenter application. You can refer to their website for guidance on configuration of their GUI.
