We are using re-driver IC DS160PR410 in my design for x4 PCIe communication.
Re-driver RX channel 0 to 3 are connected to master device-TX channel and re-driver TX channel 0 to 3 are connected to peripheral device-RX channel.
We are connecting re-driver RX channel 0 to PCIe-lane 2, RX channel 1 to PCIe-lane 3, RX channel 2 to PCIe-lane 1 and RX channel 3 to PCIe-lane 0. Similarly TX side same connection followed to connect my peripheral device (TX channel 0 to PCIe-lane 2, TX channel 1 to PCIe-lane 3, TX channel 2 to PCIe-lane 1 and TX channel 3 to PCIe-lane 0).
Is that interchanging of channel in re-driver will work for x4 PCIe device communication? Is that any requirement to group lane 0 to channel 0, lane 1 to channel 1 and so on for both Tx and Rx side.
