DP83822H: MLT3 criterion sufficient for fullfilling Ethercat Standard

Hi Geet, 

My customer has the problem to pass IEC61000-4-2 immunity test when he activates BIT 3 RX Error BIT0-2 == 0. If they activate BIT 2 , so MLT3 criterion they pass the test. The customer uses a ESD Gun. We first tried to improve line and ground termination circuits.  Since no termination change prevent a fast link down event with RX Error criterion during ESD Pulse (>=4 kV), the customer asked if BIT2 set (MLT3) will also fulfill the Ethercat standard?
