Hi,

Looks like TPS65987D is out of stock and have a high lead time. Could you please help me with an alternate to the same if available?

We are using the device along with TUSB1146 and expectation from TPS65987D to act as I2C master for TUSB1146 with Equalization + Altmode support.

Or please help me connecting with local sales the sample support for proto qty.

    Hi Amith,

    Please use the TPS65988 in replacement for the TPS65987D. It is a pin to pin replacement. You can follow the TPS65987D datasheet for schematic recommendations. There are two GUI options you must select as well:

    - Please ensure in the Global System Configuration (0x27) has the "87 emulation mode" bit set

    - Please ensure that port 2 is disabled in the Port Configuration register (0x28)
