TPS25750: Power pin connections

Dear TI team,

I am planning on using the TPS25750D in a sink-only configuration with dead battery mode (the device does not have a battery and is powered purely through USB Type-C). I wanted to double-check that it is OK to leave the PP5V, VBUS, and VIN_3V3 pins unconnected in this case, correct? Furthermore, there is no need to add decoupling capacitors on these pins in this case, is there?

Marcus,

We have an FAQ that explains the exact situation that you are describing. You can ground PP5V and only connect the required capacitor to VIN_3V3.

VBUS will be the input, and all VBUS pins needs to be shorted together.

Thanks for the info! One thing I noticed is that in the block diagram the unused I2Cm_IRQZ pin is pulled high, whereas the datasheet suggests grounding it if unused (the pin is also grounded in the USB-PD-CHG-EVM-01). What is the correct way to connect it if I do not want to use it?

It can be disabled in the configuration gui, so either configuration will work well,
